Landscape Design Reimagined
The primary function of the landscape architect is to provide, you, the client with alternative landscape choices. This is usually done by a drawing or perspective (bird’s-eye view). However, designing your landscape is also a creative process.
A good landscape architect will not only evaluate your property, but encourage, inspire and listen to you. Be realistic about your budget. Give your architect as much information at possible and share your ideas. The better you and your landscape architect communicate the more successful the project. It’s your dream.
Our Work
New Construction & Planting Bed Installation
With the large amount of new homes being built in the Pittsburgh area, this has become a staple in our landscape business. If you are looking for a unique and specialized landscape design for your new home, our design and installation service is unparalleled.
Outdoor Rooms & Courtyards
The feeling of home does not have to end as you walk out the door. The outdoor room is said to be an extension of the home, as well as the individual. Part of our job, as designers of the landscape, is to start by matching design with lifestyle. Establish a mood and appeal to the senses. Create an environment that instills a sense of contentment and well being. Embellish and personalize your outdoor space with elements such as patios, retaining walls, seat walls and pillars. Consider using sandstone boulder walls, steps, and accents in your landscape. Outdoor kitchens and grilling stations, outdoor fireplaces and fire pits are also elements to consider. Finish the project with wood structures or lighting. Create a sense of enclosure by surrounding the house or property with planting beds of different sizes and shapes. Make the landscape, a reflection of yourself with the help of a designer.
Wood Decks, Structures & Accents
Our designers often create unique wooden features in the landscape such as patio decks, pergolas, arbors, trellises, fencing, bridges, benches and swings. Each structure is custom crafted at your location during the landscape construction process. Our carpenters utilize pressure treated wood, pine, redwood and cedar.
Swimming Pools & Spas
The installation of a new pool or spa can create a wonderful activity and entertaining space in your backyard. We have extensive design experience with swimming pools and exterior spas, as well as the many elements surrounding them (patio and walkway spaces, retaining walls, fencing, landscape lighting, garden beds, privacy screens, and accent features). And our seasoned installers will insure a professional project that you will enjoy for many years.
